Sharon Dede Padi is a visual artist and an architect. On the 28th of December, 2024, she attempted the Guinness World Record for the largest leaf print painting and covered approximately 39 squared meters. On the 3rd of July, 2025 she completed the attempt, producing an image of the Ghana flag in leaf prints. The final work covered a whopping 54.3 squared meters. The two phases of this record attempt took place at the National Museum and National Theater respectively. Padiki took on this incredible feat to project Ghanaian art and culture globally. She hopes that through this attempt she motivates young artists in Ghana and Africa. She currently holds the world record for the largest leaf print painting.
