Waghamare became the first person to complete the longest singing marathon in 2012, singing for 105 hours nonstop.
As a Feminist painter, Madam Sharon Dede Padi known in the art industry as Padiki, rallied behind Afua Asantewaa’s courage and enthusiasm.
According to Madam Sharon Dede Padi – PADIKI, Afua falls within her icons because she paints for the voice of African women to be heard and that they share a common goal as she’s known to advocate for women’s rights.
To congratulate Afua Asantewaa, Padiki presented a painting to the Longest Sing Alone Marathon World Record breaker for her effort.
